SEGD KC is joining the Center for Architecture and Design
The Center is a Kansas City collective of design organizations that encompass Architecture (AIA), Planning (APA), Interiors (IIDA), Industrial Design (IDSA), Landscape Architecture (ASLA), Graphic Design (AIGA) and now Experiential Design (SEGD). The goal of the Center is to bring together multiple design disciplines and promote the professions to future generations. And to serve as a forum for discussion, collaboration and the promotion of quality design through programs, lectures, education and advocacy.
If you are a current member of SEGD – then congratulations, you are now also a member of the Center! This means you’ll receive a heads up on upcoming Center events and discounts on event registration. Speaking of events, the Center hosts over 20 events a year, including speakers, workshops and tours and of course the amazing KC Design Week. We are so excited to bring SEGD to the table as an equal stakeholder at the Center. Together we can do big things. If you have any suggestions for Center events, speakers, tours or activities, please drop us a line, and we’ll bring it to the next board meeting. If you are interested in getting involved with Center activities – there will be lots of volunteer opportunities, just reach out if you are interested!
