Snohetta, Sasaki and HOK to Take Part in a 4-Firm-Team to Design Oakland A's New Stadium

The Oakland Athletic's have hired four firms to lead the design and urban planning for their new ballpark on the Peralta site, near the heart of Oakland. HOK will be collaborating with Snohetta on the design of the ballpark. Snohetta will also be working on the masterplan along with Sasaki and Oakland-based Studio T-Square.

HOK (Chicago) has named Caroline Hinrichs director of business development for its Experience Design practice. Based in Chicago, she will oversee client development and relationships for the global experiential graphics and branding group. Hinrichs brings more than a decade of experience in business development in the architectural and design professions, with special expertise in experiential marketing.

To ensure the fifth and sixth floors of a new space in a LEED Gold building showcased Avery Dennison’s culture, the team sought the expertise of HOK, a global design, architecture, engineering and planning firm that specializes in transforming spaces.
