Abby Bysshe is Vice President of Experiences and Business Development at The Franklin Institute. In addition to developing a robust long term and traveling exhibition program there, she is currently leading the master planning and design process underway ahead of The Institute’s bicentennial in 2024. Bysshe brings over 15 years of experience in innovative museum business modeling, and exhibition development, and implementation to the table with a drive to evolve the ways in which museums think, act, and earn in the 21st century.

Carl Rhodes, Exhibit Design Director & Associate, Gallagher& Associates
Carl has been designing engaging exhibit environments since the mid 2000s and has been design lead on several large-scale projects throughout the country. With a background in traditional media and illustration, Carl now uses cutting-edge 3D computer visualization skills to develop loose ideas and shape them into tangible, memorable visitor experiences. He is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design and studied in Rome and Florence, Italy.
Kathy Fry is the 2021 SEGD Vice President and has served on the SEGD Board since 2016. She is a Principal at Mayer/Reed in Portland, Ore.
Kathy directs visual communications services in the design of signage, wayfinding, interpretive and branded spaces for civic, recreation, transportation, cultural, healthcare, education, mixed-use and corporate settings.
Jim Hester is Director of Sales for Quality Powder Coating (QPC), a full service powder coating facility with over 20 years experience.
With over 23 years of experience in the powder coating industry, Jim Hester has worked with almost every industry in the powder coating metal world. Based in Carrollton, Texas, QPC offers architectural grade coatings to meet AAMA 2604 and 2605 specifications, as well as the new wood grains, marbles and specialty finishes in the powder coating world with excellent outdoor durability.
