Experiential Design in the Philadelphia Region
Welcome to the SEGD Philadelphia Chapter! Known for its rich history and dynamic cultural scene, Philadelphia is a city where experiential design thrives, blending the old with the new. Our members work on projects that enhance the city’s public spaces, cultural institutions, and urban infrastructure.
Key member projects include the Rail Park, a linear green space that transforms an old railroad viaduct into an immersive public park. Cloud Gehshan designed interpretive elements that connect visitors to the area’s industrial history. Another significant project is the River Alive! exhibit at the Independence Seaport Museum. This interactive digital experience, designed by Bluecadet, educates visitors about the Delaware River Watershed through engaging, hands-on exhibits.
Join us as we explore new trends in experiential design, collaborate on impactful projects, and continue shaping Philadelphia’s evolving landscape. Welcome to SEGD Philadelphia!
