Before his recent retirement, Donald Kiel was the Manager of Wayfinding & Visitor Information at New York-Presbyterian, a world-class academic medical center committed to excellence in patient care, research, education and community service. Based in New York City, it is one of the nation’s largest and most comprehensive hospitals and a leading provider of inpatient, ambulatory and preventive care in all areas of medicine.

Donald Sibbett

Donald Sibbett is founder and a principal at The Sibbett Group, where he collaborates with other creatives to design exhibits for museums and visitor centers around the country. The Sibbett Group has created over 70 exhibit projects throughout the United States, contributed to 9 sustainable design projects and three LEED platinum projects, and designed two National Association for Interpretation award-winning projects.

Color-Ad Fabricates Exhibit for new Pullman National Monument and Visitor Center

This Labor Day the Pullman National Monument will debut their new visitor center dedicated to this historical monument. The visitor center includes an exhibit chronicling the history of America’s first industrial community fabricated by Color-Ad Signs and Exhibits.

The exhibit features a model of a Pullman sleeper car, displays of artifacts, and wall panels with enlarged photos text chronicling the time of the Pullman company.

Now open to the public Ford House has a brand new 40,000 square foot Visitor Center. The new facility accompanies the 1920s historic mansion and other buildings on the 87-acre estate. Full-service experience design agency, Luci Creative, led the interpretive planning and exhibit design for the project, in partnership with Richard Lewis Media Group. Other project partners and contributors included architect SmithGroup, general contractor Frank Rewold and Son Inc., custom fabricator Ravenswood Studio, Inc., and A/V specialist Creative Technology.
