Canary, a Gould Evans Studio

Canaryis a graphic, branding and interior design studio within the Gould Evans family that specializes in total brand experience. Canary visualizes the various facets of a client’s brand, mission and values within an environment and determines how to create memorable experiences. Our portfolio is intentionally diverse to encourage critical thinking and discourage formulaic tendencies.

Katie Maxfield

Katie Maxfield leads the Art Department at an interior design firm, Creative License, that specializes in branded sales environments. She has been instrumental in the development of environmental graphics for land developers and home builders alike. The Creative License team is known for their ability to seamlessly integrate marketing material into any space they design since we have interior designers, graphic designers and craftsmen collaborating on all spaces from conception to completion.

Julian Wiese

Julian Wiese is a co-chapter of the Phoenix Chapter.

Julian Wiese is an associate with Canary, a Gould Evans studio. She received a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design a Bachelor of Arts in Structural Engineering & Sculpture from the University of Arizona.

Trish Nhan

Trish Nhan is a graduate student in Visual Communication Design at Arizona State University with undergrad in Landscape Architecture. Her interests are in exhibit design, window display, experience design, set design, film, and amusement park design.

Trish Nhan is an Experiential Graphic Designer at the ASU Decision Theater Network where she is in charge of information graphic design, web, motion graphic, and print design. She is also a graphic Designer at the ASU Office of Knowledge Enterprise Development for print and digital marketing material.

115 Degrees West is a full-service environmental graphic design firm specializing in wayfinding analysis, master planning and system design. The firm is currently working on aviation/transportation facilities, casinos and resorts, and sporting venues. Retrosepctive Talk with Jan Lorenc

Phoenix members, we are so fortunate that Jan Lorenc was able to reschedule his event with our chapter! Don't forget to sign up for his talk where he will present his insight after more than 40 years in the field and provide an open forum for discussion as we explore connections between a range of design disciples.
