2015 SEGD Conference Past Presidents

The 2015 SEGD Conference: Experience Chicago is over and according to most of the attendees the staff came into contact with, this one was the best, one of the best, awesome, fantastic--you name the adjective; people seemed to really enjoy it. Chicago delivered incredible sunny days, riverboat tours of the city's architecture, and receptions out on the river walk. All these city-based activities provided great opportunities for people to get to know each other and connect.

Today, exhibition design is a convergent discipline that borrows elements from retail store design, interpretive wayfinding, storytelling, media, and interaction design. Against the Odds Exhibition

From 1933 to 1941, European Jews sought haven from the Nazis, reaching out to relatives, friends, even strangers. The exhibition Against the Odds: American Jews & The Rescue of Europe's Refugees 1933-1941 tells the little-known story of the Americans who answered the call. Despite strict immigration laws, these generous few, many immigrants themselves, overcame tremendous obstacles to help the Jewish refugees to safety.
