Jim Alderman is a senior designer in Gresham, Smith and Partners' Environmental Graphics Design group. With more than 25 years of experience in the planning, design, and implementation of branding, wayfinding, and environmental graphics programs, Jim Alderman has served a broad range of client types including public and educational facilities, airports, sports venues, healthcare facilities, retail environments, and corporate offices.

Kate Keating

Kate Keating, a retired San Francisco-based designer, is known as a pioneer in the environmental graphic design community and has contributed to the success of many award-winning, community-oriented projects over the past 20 years. Additionally, Kate is credited with the development of Universal Wayfinding, a system that provides clear and legible wayfinding in healthcare settings for people with Limited English Proficiency.

Curtis Roberts

Curtis Roberts is Design Principal and co-owner at fd2s.

Curtis Roberts thinks better branding and wayfinding (when and where appropriate) = a better, more engaging experience.

Curtis was born in Memphis, TN, but grew up in the thriving Coastal Bend metropolis of Beeville, TX (pop. 14, 586). Upon graduating with a bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin’s School of Architecture, he began working with fd2s as a design intern. He now serves as the firm’s design principal and is co-owner.

Gilles Bienvenu

Gilles Bienvenu, a French Canadian designer, worked for several major visual communications firms based in Montreal before starting up is own design firm in May 2000. He has been involved in many large-scale visual identity projects, such as Bell Canada, Sergaz Petroleum Co., Agence métropolitaine de transport, STM (Montreal Transit Authority), CBC / Radio-Canada and Hydro-Québec. During his career, he applied his design skills to a variety of prestigious projects where he was leading the design teams.

Joell Angel-Chumbley

Joell Angel-Chumbley received a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the School of Art at the University of Cincinnati, Magna Cum Laude, in 2000; and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design from the College of Mount St. Joseph, Cincinnati, OH, Magna Cum Laude in 1992. Joell Angel-Chumbley has been active in the professional art and design community since the early 1990’s. Her work spans the disciplines of visual art, print and environmental graphic design and public art.
