Russell Design (New York), working with M. Paul Friedberg Partners, designed an interpretive signage program for The Yards Park on the Anacostia River in Washington, D.C.  The program describes the buildings, facilities, and workplaces that previously occupied the area adjacent to the Washington Navy Yard. Yards Park is an amenity of the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood and is the centerpiece of Forest City, the urban, mixed-use development project known as The Yards.

The 15,500-square-foot-building, designed by SRG Partnership, will house a retired space shuttle trainer—the only one of its kind in the world.  Studio SC worked with Creo Industrial Arts to design and fabricate a movable bracket system to display promotional banners on the building’s exterior identity wall.
