Director of Experience Design, HOK
Emily leads HOK’s Experience Design group, specializing in wayfinding, branded environments, and experiential design. With over 20 years of experience, she blends brand strategy with architecture, overseeing major projects like Norfolk Southern Headquarters, WPP Campus at 3 World Trade Center, Cargill Protein Headquarters, and Hard Rock Stadium Masterplan. Her expertise spans corporate, sports, and civic spaces, bringing storytelling and design to life in the built environment.

Jonny Peterson
Design Director, Gensler
As Design Director in Gensler’s Brand Design practice, Jonny specializes in signage, wayfinding, multimedia communications, and sculptural landmarks. With work spanning both coasts from DC to LA, he transforms development projects of all scales into cohesive, branded experiences. A strong advocate for story-driven design, Jonny is also deeply involved in the design community, serving as Co-Chair of SEGD’s Washington, D.C. Chapter and contributing to local arts initiatives like Dupont Underground.
