Reclaiming Value: Sacred Valley Design Immersion

Murmur Ring is partnering with Lima-based design consultancy Empathy and the Institute of Design to offer a second iteration of Reclaiming Value: Sacred Valley Design Immersion.

Taking place in Peru’s Sacred Valley June 15–19, 2026, this experience will gather a cohort of global leaders to investigate purpose at the intersection of humanity and work. Through a series of site visits with Peruvian innovators, participants will exchange ideas, reflections, and best practices in the real world, utilizing the Sacred Valley as a living research site at the confluence of traditional and contemporary practices.

Early-bird registration is available at $4,500 through November 30, 2025. The standard individual rate of $5,000 begins December 1, 2025. Reservations include lodging, all food and drink, ground transport, site visits, workshops, parties, and special gifts; airfare is not included.

With its agricultural fertility, astronomical alignment, and archaeological sites, the Sacred Valley has long been a spiritual destination. In recent years, innovations in gastronomy pioneered in the region have garnered global recognition, resulting in an influx of new development, technology, and tourism.


Participants will explore how culinary advancements and other creative mediums can serve as analogous inputs to uncover design’s role in harnessing opportunities—and mitigating risks to environment and culture—associated with the accelerated popularity of a place as a tourist destination.

Recognized globally as “increasingly necessary and powerful as we chart our course through an AI-dominated world,” the Reclaiming Value: Sacred Valley Design Immersion offers participants the chance to gather with global peers to forge meaningful connections that translate into tangible opportunities. Participants will:

  • Discover new ways to invest in socially responsible ventures, inspired by eco-hospitality and an Andean distillery leading reforestation efforts.
  • Uncover opportunities to collaborate with fellow cohort members across industry, expertise, and geographic locations.
  • Forage native plants and enjoy a multi-course meal with world-renowned chefs at MIL Centro.
  • Meet innovators merging traditional techniques and emerging technologies to define a unique POV for the global market.
  • Consider how community-driven platforms in the region can translate to their own work, amplifying impact.
