Welcome to the EXP Community!

The SEGD Emerging Experiential Professionals (EXP) Program creates meaningful opportunities for students, emerging designers, and career changers to connect, learn, and find their voice within the SEGD community through mentorship, peer engagement, and career-building programs.

If you’re in the early stages of practice (1–5 years), currently a full-time design student, or transitioning into the field of experience design, this program is for you.

The mission of SEGD’s EXP program is to provide a space where emerging and/or transitioning designers can connect, be inspired, and have a voice within our global, multidisciplinary community. This is your forum for meeting peers, forming mentor/mentee relationships, and building connections that will last throughout your career.

Pre-registration is required to attend EXP programming.

The EXP Lounge is your home base for connection and community. Open throughout the conference, it’s the perfect place to meet peers, join impromptu chats, or find a quiet moment between sessions.

Morning Meetups:

• Thursday 7:30–8:30 AM
• Friday 7:30–8:30 AM
• Saturday 8:30–9:30 AM
  

Please note: Personal belongings should not be left unattended in the lounge. The Lounge closes at noon on Saturday
