SEGD and ICoD Forge Renewed Partnership, Highlighting Design for Humanity as Global Design Awards Deadline Nears
With just two weeks remaining until the deadline for the prestigious 2025 SEGD Global Design Awards, SEGD (Society for Experiential Graphic Design) is thrilled to announce a renewed partnership with ICoD (International Council of Design).
A powerful alignment in our shared mission of enhancing the human condition through thoughtful design.
Since 1987, the SEGD Global Design Awards have set the standard of excellence for experiential design. They honor work that connects people to place by imbuing spaces with context, storytelling, and meaning. The awards celebrate outstanding projects that advance the practice of experiential design and enrich the human experience for people of all backgrounds and abilities. They recognize the collective contributions of designers, fabricators, clients, and collaborators who bring these innovative projects to life.
Building on a relationship that began in 2007, SEGD and ICoD (formerly Icograda) are reigniting their partnership, driven by a mutual commitment to design that prioritizes humanity. ICoD’s endorsement of the 2025 SEGD Global Design Awards underscores the Awards’ dedication to recognizing projects that demonstrate exceptional design and positive impact.
“We are incredibly honored to reconnect with ICoD and receive their endorsement for the 2025 SEGD Global Design Awards,” said Cybelle Jones, CEO of SEGD.
This partnership reinforces our shared belief that design has the power to create meaningful experiences and improve lives. As we approach the final submission deadline on March 15, we are excited to showcase the innovative work that embodies this vision.”
ICoD’s “Designing with Humanity” mission resonates deeply with SEGD’s focus on “design to enhance the human condition.” This partnership will see ICoD recognized as a “Design Advocacy Partner” for the 2025 SEGD Global Design Awards. ICoD’s support includes promoting the Awards’ call for entries and the Awards Ceremony at the 2025 SEGD Conference on November 14 in San Francisco, CA.
