Since 1987, the SEGD Global Design Awards have set the standard of excellence for experiential design, honoring work that connects people to place by imbuing spaces with context, storytelling, and meaning.

The SEGD Global Design Awards represent the best-of-the-best in experiential design and celebrate the designers and design firms whose work exemplifies SEGD’s mission to “Educate, Connect, Inspire and Advocate.”

Each year, SEGD recognizes the best-of-the-best in experiential design with projects spanning a wide range of topics, disciplines, and verticals within the following categories:

  • Branded Environments
  • Digital Experiences
  • Exhibition
  • Placemaking 
  • Public Installation
  • Strategy/Research/Planning
  • Wayfinding

Our 2024 SEGD Global Design Awards Portal is now open and accepting submissions. Please carefully review our submission guidelines to determine whether your project(s) are eligible for review. Afterwards, please submit your project(s) through our Portal website. The deadlines for submission are:

  • Early Deadline: January 31, 2024
  • Late Deadline: February 14, 2024 ($100 late fee incurred)
  • Final Deadline: February 29, 2024 ($150 late fee incurred)
