Tillamook Creamery Visitor Experience

Tillamook Creamery Association wanted to create an updated visitor experience at their popular creamery and tasting room for the over 1.3 million tourists they see each year. Working with copywriters, illustrators and photographers, Studio SC developed a visual storytelling approach that nods at Tillamook’s 110-year history while also focusing on the modern dairy industry.

The third exhibition in the newly launched rotating exhibit space at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center (Seattle), “Design with the 90%,” was a collaboration between the Discovery Center, the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum (New York) and award-winning local design firm Studio Matthews.

Recently, Gallagher & Associates worked hand-in-hand with the Chicago Architecture Center to develop a world-class destination and gateway for tourists, architecture-enthusiasts, practitioners and students to discover the marvel that is Chicago’s architectural landscape and legacy. In less than nine months from project launch to open, G&A worked closely with the CAC to interpret Chicago’s architectural legacy into a visitor experience that is both awe-inspiring and accessible.

Seattle’s award-winning team at Studio Matthews recently premiered the design of their newest exhibition at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center: "​Design with the  90%​." The exhibition, curated by Cynthia E Smith, Curator of Socially Responsible Design at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York, and presented by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center, is the third exhibition in the newly launched rotating exhibit space.

The Spheres is the latest addition to Amazon’s downtown Seattle headquarters, and offers employees a work environment shared with over 40,000 plants, bringing them closer to nature as they work.

To explain this groundbreaking new building, Amazon established a free, public visitor center at The Spheres, called Understory. The name refers to the lush habitat between the rainforest floor and canopy and provides a fully immersive, 360-degree experience where visitors can get up close and personal with the science, engineering and plants behind The Spheres.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—On August 23–24, 2018, multidisciplinary designers will convene in the nation’s capital for the only comprehensive event dedicated to exhibition and experience design. SEGD (Society for Experiential Graphic Design) will host the ever-popular SEGD Exhibition & Experience Design event at the new Museum of the Bible in southwest Washington.

Viega, a global leader in plumbing and heating technology, wanted to update the product showroom at their training facility in New Hampshire. Approximately 4,000 visitors would use room annually, but the audience wasn’t easy to define. It wasn’t enough to understand that freshwater is supplied and wastewater is drained, Matrex had to have a crash course in plumbing science so they could effectively harness and promote Viega’s unique value proposition.

Radio Flyer Headquarters Expansion

Welcome to the Radio Flyer Imagination Factory; part workplace, part testing lab, all play. The Gensler design team created a new home for this iconic 100-year-old brand by creating a space that truly reflects the owner’s vision of Radio Flyer as a “Vessel for the Imagination.” Dozens of objects were carefully curated from Radio Flyer’s history to house in individual displays throughout the space.
