International property consultancy Knight Frank recently moved into a newly designed Australian head office in the heart of Sydney’s central business district. The interior—completed by Geyer Sydney— was designed to provide a contemporary agile working space that embodied “the underlying sophistication of a well-established, professional company whilst exuding a dynamic energy, generated from their entrepreneurial and innovative spirit.”

For 3M’s new Australian headquarters, THERE was asked to create an extensive branded environment that celebrated the company’s heritage of landmark innovations, as well as the engineers and inventors behind them. While mining the 3M archives, the design team unearthed a rich trove of materials that charted the development of the company from humble origins to a global powerhouse of innovation and technology. The exploration also unearthed a long history of graphic symbols and logos.

ASICS is the world’s third largest shoe company. Their new Sydney offices required a graphic overlay that captured the technical aspects that ASICS footwear and apparel are renowned for.

Working in collaboration with WMK Architecture, THERE Design (Sydney) was asked to highlight the company’s dual focus on movement and technology, providing a stimulating environment while reminding staff and visitors of the company’s core brand values.
