The project was to design the look of a three square mile Pavarotti concert venue in a remote dry lakebed. The intent was to create a sense of place in a borderless flat desert; create a festive, artful, and consistent look for unimpressive structures in a monotonic setting; complement the desert and highlight the concert without attempting to overshadow them; and provide the 50,000 visitors with a sense of arrival – day or night – while facilitating their orientation.

Creating a hip and fun Target shopper's experience within a smaller than typical space came with many challenges: traffic flow, wayfinding, and expediting the shopping experience without rushing anyone, to name a few.
Apple Computer unveiled its revolutionary mini store in five locations across the U.S. Each store is 750 square feet, about half the size of the smallest Apple Store footprint. The design consists of stainless steel walls, backlit graphics, seamless overhead lighting, and a white poured, high-gloss floor. The unique combination of materials and innovative execution of the photography and signage, in addition to the small size of the store, makes this retail design unlike any other in the marketplace.
The signage and graphics for this kiosk display a visual sophistication and sense of humor appropriate to the area, which might unofficially be called the city's design district given its concentration of studios and firms. The graphics combine the aesthetics of the area's deco heyday, the surrounding historic architecture, and the directness of fast food stands. The signage typography is designed to look playfully heroic in terms of scale, with Coney Island-sized letters across the roof - but in elegant, modern, stainless steel.

For a commission, DropShop manages the customer experience around an eBay auction, from photography through shipping. The overall objective is a retail presence that communicates the startup company's function and identity, while making a strong dramatic statement. All aspects of the design program, including website, architecture, corporate identity, etc., work holistically to establish a strong brand. The identity, graphics, and color palette are simple, clear, and bright. This communicates a friendly, non-intimidating, yet compelling message.
These well-known books on the parking garage have become some of the most recognizable and widely discussed additions to Kansas City's redeveloping core. The people of Kansas City were asked to help pick the titles of the books in order to truly represent their city. When first asked to design this project, Dimensional Innovations was asked to create a small graphic panel on the center of the book spines. When the vision grew to giant books, the challenge was to reproduce the books in a realistic way and within a set budget.
The Robin Hood Foundation initiated an effort to remodel or create ten new libraries in New York City public elementary schools with money raised from corporate donors. In 2004, the foundation continued the program with a second cohort of 21 new libraries in neglected schools throughout the five boroughs. The designers named the project The L!brary Initiative and designed a simple, flexible identity based on the wordmark.
Zubiarte is an international retail attraction hewn from design elements that are unique to Bilbao, Spain. The city's industrial heritage is clearly referenced through the building's use of stone and brick materials, complemented by numerous steel accent elements.

Rockwell Group led the production team in the creation of the film's unique and unexpected visual language. Simplified views of the cities and settings reflect the myopic viewpoint that Team America has as the World Police force.
