Mark Andreasson is President of Design Communications Ltd. (DCL), a leading fabricator in the environmental graphic design profession and partner in numerous award-winning EGD projects. DCL has collaborated on signage systems for some of the most high-profile clients in the world, from Coca-Cola and Boy Scouts of America to the Newseum and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
To market Donut King to investors, its founder and Lorenc Design incorporated the new prototype design of this store into the marketing package. The ceiling, menu board, posters, floor and layout establish brand identity for each new shop, and are accompanied by such motifs as the donut-shaped chairs and small tables adorned with daily fresh flowers. The yellow-striped canopy above the serving area would reference the early morning sun. Everything else builds on this upbeat feeling.
Dan is a past board member of SEGD and works for Technomedia Solutions, directing the company's global business development efforts, working with architects, designers, producers and clients worldwide. He has extensive experience in the design and implementation of immersive environments, interactive multimedia exhibits, and the development of large-scale touring exhibitions and is an advocate of the design-build process having successfully led numerous LEED-certified projects.
