Brewing Heritage Trail, Cincinnati

The Brewing Heritage Trail is an urban trail system that celebrates the City of Cincinnati’s brewing heritage and creates a positive, marketable image for the city. The approximately two-mile Trail follows Cincinnati streets through the Central Business District, Pendleton and Over-the-Rhine neighborhoods. It’s a dynamic experience, existing in both the physical and virtual worlds.

Be Washington: It's Your Turn to Lead

The “Be Washington” theater combines an 18th century-looking space with the latest in display and interactive technology. The room design, inspired by Congress Hall in Philadelphia, contains 18 two-person interactive touchscreen kiosks. Theatrical windows on the left and right of the theater change in color to suit the topic and mood of the scenario while a large 6K resolution LED wall at the front of the room features live-action historical vignettes.

Two million bricks, 160 days. The year is 1930 and Knute Rockne, legendary coach and pioneer of modern football, oversees the construction of the University of Notre Dame’s Football Stadium in just 160 days. “The House that Rockne Built” would go on to see the storied program achieve 11 National Championships. Eighty-five years later, with only one significant renovation, Notre Dame wanted to complete a major stadium experiential design enhancement.

Geumho-dong in Seoul is a neighborhood which was built with housing as a top priority—to its detriment. Over 90 percent of the homes built in this neighborhood have no parking spots, or even streets appropriate for vehicular traffic.

Jahadam Project

Jahadam Project

The Jahadam Project was done on a three-way pedestrian overpass located at Shinyoung-Dong, Seoul, Korea. This Project was to develop this pedestrian overpass as a public art structure using a multidisciplinary approach reflecting local cultural and historical context, the bridge’s spatial characteristics and visitor analysis to make it a meaningful experience. The Jahadam project transformed the oldest overpass structure into a new cultural space, combining the resident’s imagination and ideas arising from the surrounding environment where nature and city life coexist.

Thingvellir is a natural wonder, situated on the tectonic plate boundaries of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. It is the place where Iceland became a commonwealth when the parliament was established there in 930 CE, and the park has for centuries had a unique place in the heart of every Icelander. At Þingvellir‘s visitor’s center, Hakið, visitors are invited on a journey through history and through Thingvellir National Park’s nature.

In one of the most daring and avant-garde moves in the hotel industry to date, the $40 million Jackalope Hotel was launched in April 2017 in the heart of Australia’s Mornington Peninsula wine region. On an 11-hectare site spanning the Willow Creek vineyard, Jackalope consists of: forty-six guest rooms and suites; destination dining restaurant Doot Doot Doot; meeting and event spaces Jenka and Jackyak; and the surreal and eclectic Flaggerdoot, the hotel’s signature wine and cocktail bar.

Lenses on the Sky

Lenses on the Sky is a large-scale environmental installation permanently residing outside of OMSI’s newly redesigned Planetarium. This interactive installation pairs the study of space science with cultural stories from across the globe and investigates how humans across time have interpreted the stars and imagined the exploration of new frontiers.
