Alpolic

Alpolic announced that it partnered with Rmax Operating, LLC, a continuous insulation supplier, to test an innovative ACM (aluminum composite material) wall assembly against the National Fire Protection Association 285 standard. The wall assembly, which utilizes Rmax TSX-8500 continuous insulation, passed the rigid NFPA 285 standard.

Alpolic (Chesapeake, Va.) announced the appointment of Jack Finn as Category Manager for Petroleum Industries and Programs, Northern USA and Canada. In addition to the petroleum segment, Finn is responsible for corporate identity efforts for the automotive, quick service restaurant, hospitality, entertainment, and chain retail market segments. Finn has worked with Alucobond for more than 12 years, most recently as the company’s National Sales Manager for Corporate Identity – North America.

Signalex (Mississauga, Ont.) engineered and fabricated the aluminum extrusion systems for station advertising units as part of a 12-year transit advertising program for the Toronto Transit System. The systems were engineered by Active Designers/Al Sandid with design intent by Kramer Design Associates. Pattison Outdoor LP will provide transit advertising that will reach 1.5 million commuters daily. Signalex created extrusion systems that are less than 2-in. deep and lit by CSA-approved LED panels fabricated in house.

Systeme Huntingdon - Environmentally Friendly Graphic Processes and Materials

Systeme Huntingdon (Huntingdon, Quebec) introduced wall and ceiling systems created using environmentally friendly graphic processes and materials. The systems simulate organic materials such as wood and granite and come in a range of patterns and colors. Decorative electrostatic painting resists scratches, water, graffiti, water, and humidity. Panels can be installed horizontally or vertically on any type of surface, from concrete to sheetrock or wood, and can be changed as needed.

ASI Supports Breast Cancer Awareness

ASI (Dallas) is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October by raising funds for the Susan G. Komen Foundation’s Passionately Pink for the Cure campaign.
