airFIELD is a dynamic sculpture synced to real-time flight data reflecting the heartbeat of the world’s busiest air travel hub, the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Suspended in the center of the airport’s new international terminal, the 90-foot-long by 30-foot-wide (27.4m x 9.1m) data-driven art piece evokes the wonder of flight with its two intersecting, sweeping forms.
The fourth-semester class of the Fashion Institute of Technology’s associates degree program developed the Barbie Play with Fashion exhibition as part of a design competition to create fashions, interior designs, jewelry, photos, films, and visual displays for Barbie and Ken. The partnership with Mattel Inc. was also aimed at reinvigorating the Barbie brand to reflect greater fashion and design sophistication in the toy's audience. Finalists in the competition developed their designs into a two-story, multimedia exhibition held in the lobby of FIT’s Fred P.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center exhibition explains how and why the foundation was founded, and describes its work around the globe. Perhaps most importantly, it creates a personal relationship with the visitor, inviting them into a conversation about global issues, prompting questions and providing activities for them to explore how every individual can make a positive difference.
As part of a larger courtyard renovation project, PUBLIC: Architecture was asked to create a visual expression of what it means to study arts at the University of British Columbia. The Faculty of Arts consists of 26 schools, from Economics to Classical, Near Eastern, and Religious Studies. To craft a singular message of interconnectedness, PUBLIC asked faculty representatives to supply a quote or phrase that struck at the core value of their field of study.
As the designer of record for Oriole Park at Camden Yards since 1992, Ashton Design has been responsible for developing and maintaining the ballpark’s complete graphic vision—from exterior, wayfinding, and ADA signage to placemaking. In the stadium’s branding, Ashton Design has drawn inspiration from the team and city history, and in-depth research has resulted in many unique and authentic touches, including the ornithologically accurate Baltimore Orioles weather vanes above the scoreboard.
To celebrate the 200th anniversary of Charles Dickens's birth, The New York Public Library wanted to present an informative, entertaining exhibition for all ages. Curator William Moeck culled documents and artifacts from the library's extensive collections.
Dinosaurs are one of the core offerings at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles, with many one-of-a-kind and scientifically significant specimens. In July 2011, the museum opened the new, 14,000-square-foot Dinosaur Hall to highlight the latest dinosaur discoveries and bring the process of scientific investigation to life.
