From prehistory to the contemporary era, the museum invites the public to explore the captivating world of ancient cultures of Peru through the Inca civilization renowned for rich culture, craftsmanship, and unique weaving patterns. To bring the visitor a step closer to their craft of weaving, Gagarin developed the "Weaving Time" installation for the exhibition The Incas, Treasures of Peru.

Their talk includes an introduction to signage basics, a brief history of the subway and its signage, commentary on using New York City Transit graphic standards and working with engineers and architects, and various anecdotes about the project.
