Urban Sign and Cloud Gehshan: Philadelphia Rail Park

The Newly Opened Philadelphia Rail Park Elevated Park - Phase One

SEGD Members Cloud Gehshan and Urban Sign worked on the recently opened Philadelphia elevated park. Urban Sign employed laser cutting and delicate metal fabrication to help the designers capture the feel of the gritty neighborhood while supporting an interpretive approach that is legible and tactile.

Trail Signage for the Gwynns Falls Trail

Trail Signage for the Gwynns Falls Trail

The City of Baltimore needed better identification for its robust network of hiking and bike trails. Cloud Gehshan (Philadelphia) created a new graphic language for the Gwynns Falls Trail, one of the busiest trails in the system.

The updated signage will improve the visibility, recognition and cohesion of the trails. The signs offer directions to adjacent highways, attractions and transit, which will increase the utility of the trails for commuters and weekend cyclists.
