The Davis Companies, a Boston-based real estate investment, development and management company, recently unveiled the redesign of 88 Black Falcon Pier, along with the launch of an on-site interior and exterior art program celebrating the industrial and maritime roots of both the building and the Seaport District called, “The Art of Making It.”

Seattle’s award-winning team at Studio Matthews recently premiered the design of their newest exhibition at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center: "​Design with the  90%​." The exhibition, curated by Cynthia E Smith, Curator of Socially Responsible Design at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York, and presented by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center, is the third exhibition in the newly launched rotating exhibit space.

Daktronics Installs Nation’s Largest High School Video Display in Texas

McKinney ISD Stadium and Community Event Center recently partnered with Daktronics (Brookings, S.D.), to manufacture and install the largest high school video display in the country. The north end zone video display measures 54-feet-wide by 32-feet-tall and features Daktronics patented 13HD pixel layout. For comparison, the display stands seven feet taller than McKinney North High School and, if set on its side, is just five feet shy of McKinney's five-story hospitals.

On October 4, 2018, the new Tennessee State Museum opened in Nashville, Tennessee. This 137,000-square-foot museum tells the complex history of Tennessee, ranging from the natural history of the region to cultural history, art and even a separate children’s gallery. 

“It required a great deal of collaboration and stellar design to create one of the largest and most dynamic museums Gallagher & Associates has delivered to date,” says G&A Principal, Cybelle Jones.
