Christopher Poe

Dr. Christopher Poe is an Assistant Director at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute.  In his current position, he is leading intelligent transportation system (ITS), transportation operations, connected transportation, and toll road research and implementation projects.  Dr. Poe also serves as the Head of the Research and Implementation Division at TTI where he oversees 70 transportation researchers on a variety of projects in the TTI Dallas/Fort Worth, El Paso, Houston, and San Antonio offices.  Dr.

Vicki is an experienced Professional Engineer, Program Manager and Project Coordinator with 20 years of experience in the public sector/airport environment at San Francisco International Airport (a live, operational, environment serving over 43 million passengers a year). She has a long track record of successfully managing, delivering and implementing time sensitive projects.

Mitchell Mauk

Mitchell Mauk is Principal of Mauk Design, a San Francisco design firm that specializes in exhibit design and corporate communications, and puts special emphasis on the marketing integration of two- and three-dimensional images. Mitchell Mauk has won multiple gold and silver awards from the IDSA, SEGD and other competitions, and was named Exhibit Designer of the Year by Exhibitor Magazine in 1987. Mauk was the first American designer to have a light design manufactured by the prestigious Italian lighting firm Artemide.

This event focuses on the complexities of airport design programs from signage and wayfinding planning and management to customer experience and integrated technology. The workshop will include a tour of DFW’s facilities and sessions covering topics related to airport planning, information and experience design, and management and operations.
