A sleek new San Francisco International Airport terminal exceeds LEED goals and engages passengers in the joys of sustainable travel.   

Passengers making their way through SFO’s new Terminal 2 have become participants in modern sustainability, San Francisco style. Opened in April 2011, the renovated terminal goes beyond LEED requirements while offering “a different kind of travel experience”—what the design team at Gensler calls an “epicurean” experience of pleasure, living modestly, and treading lightly.

One Plus Partnership’s environmental graphics create “green living” for residents of a Hong Kong high-rise.

Residents of YOHO Midtown, one of Hong Kong’s newest luxury high-rises, love urban living but also yearn for a connection to nature—a rare experience in their crowded metropolis.

Commissioned to design the interiors for the complex’s four-story, 37,000-square-foot clubhouse/recreation center, One Plus Partnership (Hong Kong) was committed to giving them what they wanted.

PenguinCube’s donor wall for a non-profit art school shows that big ideas can be better than big budgets.

The Ashkal Alwan Home Workspace is a unique, scholarship-driven contemporary arts school and artist residency space that opened in Beirut in 2011. It provides a tuition-free program for 15 young artists and cultural practitioners to work for 11 months alongside a resident scholar.

Thanks to graphics by Frost Design, a Sydney bank headquarters communicates its "forward and flexible" mobile work model.

“Determined to be different” is the slogan of Australia’s Commonwealth Bank, and its campus-style headquarters in Sydney’s Darling Walk stands out for its innovative approach to the white-collar workplace. Offices for the bank’s 5,000-person staff are housed in a pair of eight-story “green” buildings designed to support shared work spaces rather than fixed desks for every employee.

Asked to create a compelling environmental graphics program for 3M’s 8,000-square-meter Australian headquarters, THERE (Sydney) focused on the company’s collaborative work ethos and the chain reaction of ideas that create technology innovations.
