This year’s Business & Leadership event in Chicago will be targeted to mid-level designers, with 3-7 years plus of experience, who are looking to gain the necessary business and leadership skills as they develop and move into senior leadership and management roles.

For years, the Principals and Partners track and Practice & Purpose Leadership Summit at the SEGD Conference brought together firm leaders for conversations on the business of design.

In response to the popularity of the sessions and requests from attendees, SEGD launched the Business of Design Summit in Denver in 2015. The summit provided an opportunity for principals, partners and other leaders in the experiential graphic design community to come together to identify the current challenges facing their businesses.

But as the business challenges in experiential graphic design have changed over the past two years, so did the SEGD Business of Design event. In 2017, the event put more focus on future leaders, bringing in experts from within the design community to prepare attendees for changes in the business landscape and giving attendees the tools to help position their firms for future success. 

The 2019 SEGD Business & Leadership event continues to target future leaders looking to move up the ladder, taking on greater responsibilities and new leadership positions within their firms. This event will provide you with the knowledge and skills to transition into these roles with ease.
