SEGD Branded Environments
Good Vibes. Brands IRL!
March 17–19, 2026 | Los Angeles, CA
SEGD Branded Environments brings the community to Los Angeles to explore how brands come to life through sports, entertainment, and immersive environments. Set in a global hub of cultural influence and storytelling, the program features keynotes, expert panels, curated networking, and behind-the-scenes tours—offering fresh insight into how experience design shapes real-world brand connection.
SEGD Bootcamps + Tours at ISA Sign Expo
April 7–10, 2026 | Orlando, FL
Hosted in conjunction with ISA Sign Expo 2026, SEGD Bootcamps + Tours deliver focused, a la carte professional development for designers, fabricators, and emerging leaders. The program features an Accessible Design (ADA) Bootcamp, a Business & Leadership Bootcamp, guided tours of the ISA Expo showroom floor, and curated offsite tours across Orlando highlighting wayfinding, placemaking, and experiential design in practice. Together, these experiences offer hands-on learning, real-world insight, and direct connection to the tools, teams, and environments shaping the industry.
SEGD Symposium + Party at AAM
May 20–23, 2026 | Philadelphia, PA
Hosted by SEGD’s Museum Exhibition Professional Practice Group, in conjunction with the American Alliance of Museums Annual Meeting, this signature SEGD experience blends insight and celebration. Join us for an afternoon Symposium featuring focused conversations on exhibitions, interpretation, digital media, and visitor experience, followed by an after-hours SEGD party at a standout Philadelphia cultural venue—creating space for meaningful connection with peers across the museum and design communities.
SEGD Academic Summit
June 24–25, 2026 | Virtual
The SEGD Academic Summit is a free, virtual forum exploring trends in design education, research, and curriculum innovation. Designed for educators, students, researchers, and practitioners alike, the Summit strengthens the connection between academic inquiry and professional practice.
SEGD Xlab
July 21–23, 2026 | New York City
Xlab returns to New York City with experimentation at its core. Built for creatives who thrive on exploration and cross-disciplinary thinking, Xlab features forward-looking talks, hands-on workshops, interactive showcases, and curated tours—creating space to test ideas, challenge assumptions, and spark new approaches to experiential design.
SEGD Conference Experience
October 22–24, 2026 | Kansas City, MO
SEGD’s flagship event heads to Kansas City—a city defined by craft, reinvention, and creative energy. The Conference Experience brings together keynotes, workshops, guided tours, community events, and NEXPO, the industry’s premier marketplace connecting designers with fabricators, technologists, and material innovators. It’s three days of ideas, relationships, and inspiration at the heart of the profession.

SEGD Voices: Practice-Led Conversations, Open to All
Complementing SEGD’s in-person events, SEGD Voices continues year-round as an accessible, community-led learning platform.
New in 2026, SEGD Voices webinars will be curated and programmed by SEGD’s Professional Practice Groups, reflecting the depth of insight developed through their ongoing work. The Museum Exhibition PPG, Wayfinding & Experiential Graphics PPG, and Digital & Interactive Media PPG will rotate leadership of quarterly SEGD Voices sessions, bringing focused, practice-driven conversations to the broader community.
In response to member feedback, SEGD Voices will now be free and open to all, removing membership as a barrier and inviting anyone interested in learning and participating to join these conversations.
The final SEGD Voices schedule will be announced soon. The year kicks off on January 15, 2026, with a session hosted by the Museum Exhibition PPG, featuring 2025 Jury Chair Jonathan Alger and SEGD CEO Cybelle Jones, exploring award-winning projects in Exhibition Design.
