RUN2RAVE
The intersection of running and raves brought two like-minded companies together to produce Run2Rave, an 8K celebratory, music-filled running event that seamlessly continues into a rave.

Luxury fashion and athletic brand Running Order was founded in 2020 after over ten years of research, with the goal of establishing an aesthetically driven activewear brand that is sustainable, unisex, and that serves as a palette for individual creative expression. Running Order is built on the idea that active clothing should allow the wearer to move freely, without inhibition, in whatever activity they choose—whether running a marathon or dancing all night at a club. Renegade Running is an Oakland, California, based running apparel shop focused on community, diversity, and partnering with other innovative companies in the running space. Renegade’s running club is nearly 2,000 people strong; creating gathering opportunities for both lifelong and new runners is a key part of the company’s mission.
The Studio worked closely with Running Order to explore the intersection of these two realms, landing on the notion of euphoria—a sensation of unbridled joy that radiates from within. Our team identified expressions of euphoria that became the vocabulary of the Run2Rave brand: vibrant, colorful, harmony and dreaminess. We leveraged the idea of a blurry dreamscape as a visual language to emphasize the contrast between euphoria and reality. The Studio led the creative direction including the art direction and visual identity across print, digital, environmental graphics, lighting and photography, including designing a custom typeface. As RUN2RAVE travels to locations in London, Paris and New York, the creative direction will include a distinct monochromatic color scheme for each city with the custom typeface helping to bring coherency to the broader system.
