Making space to share everyone’s stories, will be the central topic of Joy’s keynote. Today’s cultural audiences (people of all cultures) are examining, wrestling with, and understanding the stories of their own as well as others cultures. In this talk, Joy will discuss ways that the sheer presence of equitable arts and cultural programming makes public space public (tax-payer funded spaces like museums, parks, gardens, libraries).
