We are just five weeks away from the 2023 SEGD Conference Experience in Washington, D.C. This year a conference favorite is back, the President’s Reception and Auction for Excellence. The President’s Reception is SEGD’s traditional conference kick-off. Reconnect in-person with old friends, meet new and inspiring peers and lean into our new future together. Get a sneak peek of NEXPO and end the evening with a spirited auction to support SEGD education. Read on to learn more.

SEGD is incredibly excited to host this year’s conference experience in-person in Washington, D.C.! Running August 23-26, this year’s conference will focus looking both ways, from our past to the present and beyond. Sessions and tours will curate unique and compelling opportunities for connection, co-creation, and conversation—to deepen and forge future thinking. Of course, SEGD favorites such as Design Improv, the President’s Reception + Auction, and Emerging Experiential Professional Meetups and Mentor sessions are returning and “not to be missed”!

The President’s Reception is SEGD’s traditional conference kick-of. Mix and mingle with friends old and new while you explore the sneak peak of the NEXPO floor. Then attendees will hear from our SEGD President of the Board, Kathy Fry, as Fry welcomes everyone to the conference.

Then the real fun begins at the Auction for Excellence. A preview of the auction and raffle items will be open all day at registration but here is where you can finally snag that item you’ve had your eyes on. From experiences to books and posters, the Auction for Excellence has something for everyone and you will be supporting a great cause, SEGD’s educational efforts!
