SEGD Welcomes Rachel Moran as Membership Experience Manager and Bids Farewell to Mark Daigle
SEGD is excited to announce a new addition to our team! Rachel Moran will be joining SEGD in a new role, Membership Experience Manager. The Membership Experience Manager is a key position that merges elements of membership engagement with event coordination to enhance the overall experience of our members. Rachel will be responsible for providing support and oversight for SEGD’s events, as well as supporting membership and chapter engagement. Her first week of work will coincide with the 2024 SEGD Conference Experience Dallas, so be sure to find Rachel at the Conference and give her a warm welcome!

Rachel joins SEGD as the Membership Experience Manager with a diverse background as an educator, event coordinator, and community builder. With a passion for creating memorable experiences that bring people together to learn, grow, and innovate, she’s committed to developing stronger relationships among all the SEGD members. A few of her other passions are staying active, traveling, exploring nature and rooting on her two amazing daughters.
A Fond Farewell to Mark Daigle
After careful reflection, Mark Daigle, our Director of Partnerships, has decided to pursue a new career opportunity and will be departing SEGD. His final day with us will be Tuesday, September 24.
Mark has been a valued member of the SEGD community, fostering meaningful relationships and contributing to our growth through his passion and dedication. His presence will be missed by both the SEGD team and the members he’s collaborated with.
We are grateful for Mark’s commitment to SEGD and the experience design community. As he embarks on his next chapter, we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
While this marks a significant change, SEGD remains fully committed to our mission and ongoing initiatives. We will begin our search for Mark’s replacement following the 2024 SEGD Conference Experience Dallas.
