SEGD Chapters Celebrate International Design Day 2026

SEGD celebrates International Design Day 2026 by activating global chapters around the theme “The Spaces In Between.” Through workshops, tours, and design labs, events explore how design connects people, place, and experience—highlighting experiential graphics, technology, and community-driven creativity across cities worldwide.

Each year on April 27, the International Council of Design (ICoD, Instagram: @theicod) brings together the global design community to celebrate the power and impact of design. In 2026, SEGD is proud to serve as the host organization, activating chapters around the world to explore this year’s theme, “The Spaces In Between.”

From workshops and tours to conversations and hands-on design labs, SEGD Chapters are creating opportunities for their local communities to connect, collaborate, and celebrate design’s role in shaping human experience. Below is a look at what participating chapters have planned.
