SEGD is offering a series of á la carte tours that give attendees exclusive access to some of Orlando’s most fascinating design and fabrication environments. From behind-the-scenes fabrication shops to immersive airport environments and entertainment destinations, these tours provide a rare look at the people, processes, and technology shaping the future of experiential graphic design.
Whether you’re a designer, fabricator, or client, these guided experiences are designed to inspire new ideas, deepen industry connections, and showcase how great design is realized in the real world.
You have the opportunity to experience two tours on Wednesday, April 8 with the scheduled tour times of 12:30-2:30 PM and 3:30-5:30 PM, plus our Meet Your Makers tour on Friday, April 10 from 10:00-12:00 pm.

Fabrication Shop Tour

Step inside the extraordinary world of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Headquarters, a state-of-the-art in-house fabrication facility where imagination becomes reality.
Participants will get an in-depth look at the behind-the-scenes operations that transform bold ideas into immersive exhibits seen around the globe. From innovative fabrication technologies to extraordinary art pieces produced entirely in-house, Ripley’s creative teams push the boundaries of storytelling and experiential design.
Expect to see things you’ve never even thought of—and gain insight into how collaboration, craftsmanship, and engineering combine to create unforgettable visitor experiences.

Wayfinding + Placemaking Tour

Explore Orlando International Airport’s Terminal C, where immersive digital media transforms wayfinding into a memorable placemaking experience.
Large-scale media installations throughout the terminal celebrate Florida’s natural beauty and cultural identity, while also functioning as intuitive navigation landmarks that help travelers orient themselves throughout their journey.
On this tour, you’ll hear directly from the airport’s internal wayfinding manager and Electrosonic, one of the digital fabricators behind the program. Learn how immersive media and traditional wayfinding systems work together to reduce traveler stress, improve orientation, and create meaningful moments along the path from curb to gate.

Entertainment Experience Tour

Just minutes from Walt Disney World®, Evermore Orlando Resort is a 1,400-acre destination designed to deliver unforgettable entertainment-style experiences.
During this exclusive visit, participants will explore how experiential graphics and fabrication helped shape the resort’s identity and guest journey. Members of the project’s design and fabrication teams will share the collaborative design-build process behind the resort’s signature entry experience, comprehensive wayfinding system, and custom placemaking elements.

Meet Your Makers Tour

Designed specifically for designers and planners, the Meet Your Makers Tour offers a curated walkthrough of the ISA Expo showroom floor.
