Calling All Emerging Experience Professionals!

A note from our Emerging Experience Professionals (EXP) Chairs:

It’s been almost a full month since we connected at SEGD’s 50th Anniversary Conference in Washington DC! It feels like yesterday, as the energy is still flowing between the insightful and inspirational presentations delivered at the EXP Lunch, the enriched conversations during the EXP Mentor Meetups, and the overall sense of community and engagement each day at the EXP Lounge. We’d like to say “Thank you” to each and every person who showed up, participated, or mentored throughout the weekend – your energy was felt throughout the entire conference experience.

The mission of SEGD’s EXP program is to provide a space for emerging and/or transitioning designers into the field of Experiential Design to connect, be inspired, and have a voice within our global, multidisciplinary community. This program is a unique place within the larger SEGD community where you have the opportunity to participate and foster mentor/mentee relationships that will last throughout your career.  It’s the forum where you can connect with peers, make new relationships, and actively participate in the developing EXP mentor/mentee program.

The future of SEGD’s EXP program is implicit upon you staying connected with us, and here’s how:

  • Make sure that your membership is current – Your joining or renewal with SEGD gives us the ability to hear your voice and build the program that YOU need.
  • Follow us on Instagram @segdexp
  • Write us a note at exp@segd.org and get involved – Supply feedback, tell us what you want to know / learn, or volunteer to be a future mentor.
