SEGD is proud to announce the opening of the 2025 SEGD Global Design Awards, presented in partnership with DCL (Design Communications Ltd.), inviting designers, firms, and creative teams from around the world to submit their most compelling work. 

Since 1987, the SEGD Global Design Awards have celebrated the best of the best in experiential design, recognizing projects worldwide that set new standards of excellence. These awards honor a diverse range of work—from urban revitalizations and digital installations to exhibitions and wayfinding systems—that combine the built environment, technology, graphics, and storytelling to make a lasting impact on culture, society, and the human condition.

Judging Panel & Process

The 2025 SEGD Global Design Awards will be evaluated by an accomplished panel of industry leaders chaired by Jonathan Alger, Managing Partner at C&G Partners. A long-time advocate for excellence in experiential design, Jonathan is also an internationally award-winning designer and the host of “Making the Museum,” a podcast and newsletter dedicated to the cultural experience field.

Jonathan describes the SEGD Global Design Awards as iconic, stating: “Nowhere else will you see this level of design excellence, all drawn from experiential graphic design. Winning a GDA is big. This year, my goal is to make the GDAs the best ever, including a very special awards reveal session at the 2025 SEGD Conference Experience in San Francisco!”

Entries are assessed anonymously based on their ability to connect people to place, solve complex design challenges, and create memorable user experiences. Projects that champion inclusivity, sustainability, and innovation will be given special consideration.
