Tom Mason

Tom Mason is the co-founder of Redglass Pictures and serves as the company’s co-director, principal editor, and head of post production. Mason’s cinematic approach to shorts comes from his deep roots in film and still photography, which he studied at Syracuse University. He oversaw Redglass’ work as media lead of the National Medal of Honor Museum which opened in Arlington, TX in 2025 and as director of multiple films and large scale installations at the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library which opened in Medora, ND in 2026. Additionally, he has co-directed and edited original short films include History of Memory, George Saunders and Ken Burns: On Story with The Atlantic, and How To Win An Election for The New York Times. In addition to his work at Redglass, Mason has also served as an adjunct professor of video storytelling at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
