Tom is a graduate of the University of South Florida’s College of Fine Arts, Tampa, and began his career there as a Graphic Artist, Gallery Director, and Instructor/Manager. He co-founded a non-profit artist organization in Ybor City, Florida, where he expanded his work to include multimedia, performance art, photography, and video. Tom has worked with various art organizations, including The Florida Center for Contemporary Art/Artist’s Alliance, and has organized the Public Arts Program for the City of Oldsmar, Florida. He moved to Los Angeles in 1994, where he served as Chief Curator at Gemini G.E.L. and worked with prominent artists such as John Baldessari, David Hockney, and Roy Lichtenstein.

Tom has led or been a member of design teams for over 40 exhibitions across the United States for numerous museums, including the Autry Museum of The American West, Skirball Cultural Center & Museum, and Santa Monica Museum of Art. He has also worked as a Graphic Designer, Media Coordinator, and Photographer at the McClung Museum of Natural History and Culture, University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He most recently designed The Go for Broke Spirit: Legacy in Portraits as well as Degenerate! Hitler’s War on Modern Art. He contributed to the designs of Our War Too: Women in Service and Fighting for the Right: African American Experiences in WW2.”
