Design intent often dies somewhere between the drawing and the wall. Scott Cutcher built Kōr Brand Group to make sure it doesn’t. With a Visual Communications degree and 30+ years in visual branding focused on signs, graphics, and atmospheres, he has been privileged to work with some of the top brands across categories — from AutoZone to Rainforest Cafe to Ethel M Chocolates — while advising behind the scenes on national and global programs most people never hear about. He represents some of the industry’s best manufacturers and holds the standards most people in this industry let slip — and when the project demands more, a 30+ year rolodex means the right solution is always within reach.

Ask Me About (currently: “How design intent gets lost

Ask me about

How design intent gets lost between the drawing and the wall — and what it actually takes to make sure it doesn’t. I’ve spent 30+ years at that exact intersection, and it’s still the conversation I love most.

My super power is

My superpower is catching your vision, elevating it to what it was always meant to be, and driving it all the way to reality — knowing exactly what can be built, who needs to be in the room, and how to communicate it in a way that keeps everything moving forward.

I'm looking for

Designers and creative professionals who refuse to let a great idea die in translation — and who want a resource in their corner that speaks both the language of design intent and the reality of fabrication.

What I love about experience design

The moment a creative conversation goes somewhere nobody planned. When designers, fabricators, and the right resources get in the same room and the original idea doesn’t just get executed — it gets elevated. I love being the catalyst that makes that happen and the bridge that makes sure it actually gets built.

Best piece of advice I've ever heard

Serve first. Everything else follows. I’ve watched that truth play out across 30+ years and every kind of brand imaginable. The most powerful environments aren’t the most expensive ones — they’re the ones designed around the person experiencing them. Every surface, every light, every visual element is communicating something to the human being standing in that space. When all of it is aligned to serve that person — when the design intent holds all the way from the drawing to the wall — the brand doesn’t just look good. It builds trust. And trust builds everything.

Where I find Inspiration

In the gap between what someone imagined and what hasn’t been built yet.
