Sarah Tavares

I’m a graduate student in Interior Architecture & Design at Florida State University and I currently serve as a Teaching Assistant and as the Graduate Representative on both the Interior Architecture & Design Advisory Council and the Student Advisory Council.

I believe design is the intent to create meaningful spaces through innovation and empathy. My work focuses on how innovative, human-centered design can shape experiences and foster connection. Outside of design, I’m inspired by travel, culture, and music, all of which influence my creativity and perspective on spatial storytelling.
