I am an Experiential and Entertainment Designer with over 24 years of experience in creating immersive and interactive environments that engage and delight users. I have a unique perspective and approach to design, thanks to my dyslexic thinking skills and my passion for guest and user experience in the built environment. I’ve worked with clients such as Nickelodeon, Disney, Hershey’s, Netflix, and Uber, delivering projects ranging from theme parks, zoos, aquariums, stadiums, music festivals, to workplace, retail, food and beverage, and destination-based entertainment spaces.
As a Creative Director, I apply my design thinking and implementation skills to every stage of the design process, from concept development, to production, to installation. I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of creatives, designers, architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure the quality and consistency of the design vision and execution.
I am also an Adjunct Professor at Maryville University of Saint Louis, where I teach Environmental Graphic Design, Professional Practices and Intro to Digital Design to design students, sharing my knowledge and expertise, and inspiring the next generation of designers.
My super power is
Being a design unicorn able to pivot in moment notice.
What I love about experience design
I love walking, cycling, drawing, creating art, quiet time, loud music, podcast and repeat.
Best piece of advice I've ever heard
Edit, Edit and Edit again…and when you think you are done Edit one last time.
