Ray Dang is a Graphic Designer with Metro in Los Angeles.
Ray Dang earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Graphic Design from the Art Center College of Design.
Ten years ago when Metro hired Creative Director Michael Lejeune they gave him a simple Brief. Make Metro Cool. And that is precisely what the design department has been achieving every since. In the ten years since, Metro’s design studio, interactive design team and customer environments group have fueled a creative transformation that includes fleet design, ad campaigns, a complete signage program, branded merchandise, fare media, maps, timetables and Metro’s website and mobile apps. Every aspect of the agency’s internal and external communications has been redesigned or visually aligned to reinforce the Metro brand.
Metro is the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. It is unique among the nation’s transportation agencies, in that it serves as transportation planner, coordinator, designer, builder and operator for one of the country’s largest, most populous counties. Nearly 10 million people—one-third of California’s residents—live, work and play within its 1,433-square-mile service area in Los Angeles County.
Ray has also worked for the Taproot foundation as a graphic Designer.
