Member Since
With a passion for people and guest experiences, Paul leads design and development for Cooper Carry’s Experiential Graphic Design Studio. His broad portfolio includes projects from almost every sector, including themed entertainment, hospitality, higher education, children’s healthcare, retail, office, and mixed-use. With a background in Industrial Design, his education and experience combine traditional 2-dimensional graphic design with 3-dimensional products and environments. Paul is experienced in large-scale project management and highly skilled in concept development. He enjoys collaborating across disciplines to ensure the client accomplishes their goals while creating a seamless user experience.
Paul began his career in the themed entertainment industry, designing attractions for theme parks internationally. Over the last 25 years, he has worked in experiential graphics and experience design, focused on communicating identity, wayfinding, and shaping the idea of place.
Outside of work, he plays the clarinet and sings in the St. Paul UMC choir. In 2012, he founded Design Samaritan to help others and save valuable resources from the landfill. This social enterprise finds and refurbishes furniture, transforming it into one-of-a-kind home furnishings. Proceeds from the sale of each piece enable furniture to be donated to families transitioning out of homelessness and into a home of their own.
