Nekita believes in the power of designing tools and spaces for critical conversation and knowledge exchange to generate new ideas and solutions. This requires always asking the “what ifs” and “why nots” and enabling diverse perspectives to come together. This is the basis of her current projects on topics of race, racism, well-being, and the built environment. Nekita teaches in Graphic Design and Design for Responsible Innovation at The University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
