Michael Casto

Mike is a seasoned branding and design specialist with over 30 years of experience spanning graphic, product, print, architectural, and exhibit design. A self-taught entrepreneur and highly motivated creative, he spent the past 23 years as a business owner and partner at Relay Design and ModulR Design, where he developed innovative brand and product design solutions. Mike’s collaboration on notable Solid Light projects, including the D. Wayne Lukas and Bill Shoemaker exhibits at the Kentucky Derby Museum, led him to his current role as a Senior Designer on the design team.

With a BA in Design from Ohio University, Mike blends his creative expertise with hands-on craftsmanship as a skilled woodworker and luthier. Beyond his professional endeavors, he has been an active volunteer with Louisville Grows for over a decade, serving as a Citizen Forester and contributing to the planting of thousands of trees to enhance Louisville’s green spaces.
