Miguel Avila

Miguel Avila is a creative director with amus.
He is a designer and artist that has produced interior environments and graphic design concepts for hospitality, retail, corporate and healthcare projects. He has also created branding and marketing materials, books and original art for various businesses and corporations. He has over 15 years of experience in architecture and environmental graphic design.
Trained at Mexico’s Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), he spent the first years of his professional career working as an architect. That experience solidified a 360 degree understanding of all aspects of a project, eventually in support of a cohesive design using his skills in graphics, the arts, and visual communication.
Miguel Avila is a member of AIGA and a LEED accredited professional.
Volunteer Activities include serving as an artist for the Houston Furniture Bank, a local non-profit that focuses on making houses into homes by providing furniture for families in need via 70 agencies in surrounding counties. He also volunteered at the Houston Food Bank.
