I’m an exhibition designer and museum professional with more than 25 years of experience designing, developing, producing, and installing exhibitions. At the Crocker Art Museum, I lead exhibition design and production across a wide range of projects, working with curators, designers, fabricators, artists, vendors, and museum teams to translate ideas and interpretive goals into engaging visitor experiences. My work combines exhibition design with hands-on knowledge of fabrication, installation, materials, lighting, art handling, and project management. My work on Alexander McQueen & Ann Ray received a 2023 Red Dot Design Award for Exhibition Design. I hold an M.A. in Museum Studies and am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Ask me about
How do you turn an ambitious exhibition idea into something that can actually be built?
My super power is
Seeing the whole project while still understanding how the pieces actually get built.
I'm looking for
Connections with people working in exhibition and experiential design, opportunities to exchange ideas, and new ways to strengthen the connection between design, interpretation, and project delivery.
What I love about experience design
I love the point where an idea begins to become a physical experience—working through space, materials, graphics, lighting, objects, and all the practical constraints until everything comes together for the visitor.
Best piece of advice I've ever heard
Don’t bring a problem without bringing at least one possible solution.
Where I find Inspiration
Museums, artists, fabricators, historic spaces, materials, and people who solve difficult problems beautifully.
