Mark is the Founder and Creative Director of ZEBRADOG, an experiential design firm that elevates brands in built environments through experiential design, digital media, and visual communications for higher education, healthcare, and corporations. Since 1994, he has assembled a unique consortium of interior architects, strategic brand developers, software engineers, industrial designers, writers, producers, and interior designers to deliver some of the most collaborative, integrated, and evocative branded environments worldwide.
The ZEBRADOG team specializes in helping clients share their stories, cultures, and unique histories in ways that inspire and emotionally connect to their communities. Clients include Exact Sciences, Duke University, Baltusrol Golf Club, Emory University (HOK), Green Bay Packers, Leinenkugel Brewery, and Sub-Zero Group.
As a Certified Experience Economy Expert (CEEE), Mark works to enhance client understanding of how to create successful experiences that are memorable and inherently personal to each individual. He is a frequent keynote speaker on the subject of “Dynamic Environments” and “Human Experience of a Brand” for organizations such as Herman Miller, American Institute of Architects (AIA), International Interior Design Association (IIDA), and the American Marketing Association (AMA).
Mark has a passion for historic buildings and preservation. The ZEBRADOG studio is located in a lovingly restored 110-year-old Carnegie Library in Madison, Wisconsin. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Taliesin Preservation Inc. and is an active volunteer for the preservation and revitalization of other Madison landmark treasures.
