I’m Madeleine, an emerging designer and Graphic Design BFA graduate from the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design at GW, where I learned to approach design through research, strategy, and design thinking to solve problems that address social issues, spark action, and create more connected human experiences. I’m currently exploring opportunities within environmental and experiential graphic design with a focus on helping people feel more connected to the spaces and communities around them. I’m excited to learn and collaborate with fellow SEGD members to bring joy and clarity to everyday experiences.
Ask me about
Experiences designed for multi-sensory impact or about my favorite spaces, exhibits, or environments that embody immersive design.
My super power is
Spreading love and finding joy in life’s simple moments, then channeling that energy into design that makes others feel seen and supported.
I'm looking for
• Mentorship and guidance as an early career professional • Opportunities to mentor youth exploring design • Collaborating with other experiential designers on community service projects that bring meaningful impact to D.C. neighborhoods • Attending insightful panels and hands-on workshops to grow as a designer
What I love about experience design
What I love about experiential graphic design is its ability to quietly transform how people move through and relate to a space. I’m drawn to the way it blends storytelling, systems thinking, and visual clarity to create environments that are intuitive, inclusive, and inspiring.
Best piece of advice I've ever heard
Become deeply aware of your strengths and passions, and create work that celebrates, elevates, and aligns with what you do best.
Where I find Inspiration
I find inspiration in the in-between moments: colors and textures on a walk, conversations with strangers, narratives of lived experience, childhood memories, and the subtle ways design reveals itself.
