Luke has worked in media production for 25 years. He currently directs Relative Scale’s creative efforts and strategic initiatives for innovative media experiences serving a range of industries: museum and cultural, academic, healthcare, corporate, and collegiate and professional sports.

Luke is passionate about storytelling and visitor experiences. His approach to his craft is predicated on listening, and his creative direction helps synthesize the needs and expectations of the client, the stakeholders, and the audience. He is a firm believer in the value of a collaborative process, and he is unyielding in his desire to create value for others.

At Relative Scale, Luke oversees all editorial, visual, and technical development of each project and helps the studio maintain a clear focus on crafting compelling and sustainable stories through the thoughtful use of technology. His recent media installations include interactive projections for the multi-purpose Innovation Studio space at North Carolina State University; an interactive financial data aggregation, visualization, and analysis platform for Moët Hennessy USA in New York City; and an immersive audio and lighting experience for Gettysburg’s Beyond the Battle Museum, which was honored as the Best New Museum in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards for 2024.

Prior to founding Relative Scale, Luke served as a Project Producer at Cortina Productions in McLean, Virginia, where he collaborated to produce award-winning films and interactive experiences for a variety of museums and exhibitions including the US Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Muhammad Ali Center, the Kansas City Royals Hall of Fame, the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum, and others. Luke began his career with Ward TV and Cronkite Ward in Washington, DC, helping produce long-form documentaries for Discovery Communications.

Luke holds an MBA from Duke University and a BA in Communication and Journalism from Wake Forest University.
